Amy is a newer client at CPCC. She had recently moved to the county. She had her adorable baby with her. This baby had two dimples, and it seemed that he could not quit smiling. During her first visit, Amy shared her story with us. She told me us that she had tried to abort her baby. She was given an abortion pill by Planned Parenthood. She took the first pill at Planned Parenthood and was told to take the second pill at home. Amy shared that when she took the second pill, she became very sick. She thought the abortion was successful until she felt her baby move at 28 weeks! We knew that her baby was and still is a miracle child. One of our staff shared with her the story that is in Genesis 50:20 when Joseph reminds his brothers that they meant evil for him, but God meant it for good. We look forward to continuing to meet with this family and seeing how God uses Amy and her precious baby in the coming weeks.
